This experience details the process for a Technology Summer Analyst role for the Summer of 2024.
Application: The candidate applied off-campus on October 16, 2023.
Round 1 (AMCAT Online Test - 100 minutes): Received an email in February 2024 for the AMCAT. This test had three timed sections:
Following the online assessment, the candidate received a call for virtual interviews.
Round 2 (Technical Round - ~1 hour): Scheduled for February 28, 2024. The interview started with an introduction, followed by questions about the candidate's resume, including responsibilities in Google Developer Student Clubs at NIT Silchar. The interviewer then presented a DSA question involving stacks, similar to the asteroid collision problem on LeetCode. The candidate coded on an IDE, explaining their approach aloud. A question on binary trees was also discussed, with the candidate refining their approach to an optimized solution.
Round 3 (HR+HM Round - ~30 minutes): Received an email eight days later for the second interview with an ED. This round included HR and Hiring Manager elements. The interviewer's amiable demeanor put the candidate at ease. The candidate introduced themselves and elaborated on a group project, highlighting overcome obstacles. Questions about Morgan Stanley's core values and their relevance were asked.
