Money View visited the campus for Software Engineer and Data Scientist roles. The recruitment process consisted of four rounds.
Round 1: Online Test
This round was conducted on the HirePro Platform and had 33 questions with a 90-minute time limit. It included quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, and technical aptitude. There were also two coding questions. The coding questions were considered easy: one involved merging two non-increasing arrays into one, and the other was to find the most frequent substring of a string of a given length. The aptitude questions were noted as difficult. Forty candidates were shortlisted for the next round.
Round 2: Technical Interview 1
The interviewer started with a puzzle: "Chaos in the Bus". After some thought and a hint, the candidate arrived at the answer. Next, a programming question was asked: "Next Greater Element". The candidate devised a solution. Following this, the interviewer asked for the implementation of a queue using two stacks, where the push operation is made costly. Finally, OOPS concepts in Java were discussed, which the candidate explained clearly with examples.
Round 3: Technical Interview 2
This round focused primarily on the candidate's projects. The interviewer was friendly and asked for an instance where the candidate used their skills to solve a problem, and seemed impressed by the answer. The interviewer mentioned that they wouldn't ask any technical questions after reviewing the online test statistics. The round concluded with the candidate asking a few questions.
Round 4: HR Interview
The HR round involved questions about the candidate's family background and college journey. The candidate was also asked about other interviews they had attended and reasons for not being selected. Interest in technologies like Android, Cloud Computing, and Java was discussed, along with any plans for higher studies. The candidate asked a few questions at the end.
The candidate was selected, and Money View ultimately selected 4 Software Engineers and 2 Data Scientists.
