Round 2: Managerial Round
This was an online face-to-face interview with the Engineering Manager of the hiring team. After introductions, the interviewer asked questions based on the candidate's resume. Topics covered included details about projects from the current company, Agile Methodology, Software Engineering, team structure and role within the team, technical questions on Springboot project structure, switching between different profiles in Spring, and tools used for code deployment and team collaboration. The candidate was also asked to describe a major problem encountered and how it was solved, to which they explained a recent CORS issue.
Round 3: Hiring Manager
The final round was with the Hiring Manager, who discussed the benefits offered by MIQ, the work culture, and company values. The business domain of MIQ (AdTech) was also discussed, which the candidate found new and exciting. All three rounds went well, and the interviewers were helpful. The candidate was offered the position and accepted it, noting that working with MIQ for the past 2 years has been incredibly enriching.
