The company visited the campus to hire for multiple roles including Software Development Engineer. The hiring process consisted of 4 rounds.
Round-1 Online Assessment: This round was conducted on the Mettl platform for 100 minutes. It was completely proctored and had 90 MCQs from aptitude (Arithmetic, logical reasoning, verbal, non-verbal) and corporate-style situational questions. The assessment was considered medium difficulty, but the cutoff was very high, leading to very few candidates clearing it.
Round-2 Technical Interview 1: This 60-minute round was purely technical, involving deep discussions on various technical concepts. Questions were asked on Decorators (based on the chosen programming language), OOPS implementation, Trees, Graphs, Linked List (including implementation), Web development, Computer networking, and Database/SQL. This was followed by two DSA-based questions: "Implement Stack using OOPS and change its functioning into Queue by method overloading concept" and "Count a number of components in a graph." Questions related to all offered roles were also asked to help assign a role based on performance.
Round-3 Technical Interview 2: Prior to this round, the role was decided, and the candidate would receive a call from HR explaining the further process and providing material related to the assigned role's tech stack. For a Testing Automation Engineer role, the discussion started with self-introductions and resume discussion. Then, it directly dived into testing-based questions such as: "What is testing and why it's required?", "Types of testing in coding", "Provide a real-life example to explain testing", "How is testing done?", "What is Selenium and all questions regarding Selenium?".
Round-4 HR Discussion: This was a short round, approximately 20 minutes. It began with introductions and resume discussions, followed by a small puzzle and some personal questions. HR then explained about the organization, its history, and work-life balance. The candidate also asked questions about the organization and tech stack.
