The recruitment process for the Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) role in 2022 consisted of two rounds.
Round 1 was an Online Assessment conducted on the L&T Edutech platform. This was an elimination round and included an Aptitude Test (Analytical Ability, Verbal Ability, and Numerical Ability) and a Technical Test (Branch Specific).
Round 2 was the Interview, lasting 15-20 minutes, and included an Extempore. The interviewer asked about the candidate's background and technologies learned. Specific technical questions included: "What is Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence?", "Difference between Alexa and machines made by other companies like Apple," and "What concepts of ML, AI, and Deep Learning are used here?". For the Extempore, the candidate was given two topics, Blockchain and Cloud Computing, and had to speak on one. Behavioral questions covered hobbies (with an expectation of technical books), emerging technologies, "Difference between DBMS and RDBMS," "Difference between Primary key and Foreign key," "What is the Current SQL Version?", "Who is your role model?", and "Where do you see yourself in future?". Resume-based questions included "Difference between android OS and iOS" and a project-based question on "What is Bitcoin?". The interview concluded with a question about career aspirations.
