ARM visited Nirma University for recruitment. The process started with an online test, followed by interviews.
Online Test: Conducted on the HirePro platform. The pattern changes annually; for this year, it was segregated into three sections.
Out of 170-180 students, only two were shortlisted for the first round of interviews.
Technical + Managerial Round (Final Round): This round lasted about 70-75 minutes, and the candidate answered around 40-45 questions. It started with an introduction and "Why do you want to join ARM?". The interviewer then asked to explain Computer Architecture, Operating Systems, and Computer Networks at a basic, applicative, and layer-wise level. Specific questions included: What is a CPU, its components, and why is it important? How does an operating system work on it, its functions, and why are Windows and Linux powerful? Why can't we interact with hardware directly? Explain how video conferencing works in the context of computer networks. Questions on a Doubly Linked List and a general software perspective were also covered. The questions were described as very in-depth, challenging, and some were completely out of the blue.
