The entire hiring process was divided into 3 rounds.
Online Coding/Aptitude Round: This round consisted of 13 sections. The last section had 4 coding questions, while other sections included OOPs, output-based questions, and aptitude questions. The total duration was 1 hour 30 minutes, and candidates could switch between sections. The coding questions were based on Array and Dynamic Programming, with an easy-medium difficulty level. The candidate was able to solve 2 questions completely and 2 partially. The test was conducted on a special browser named "MSB". Out of approximately 200 students, 17 were selected for the next round.
Technical Interview Round: The interviewer started with an introduction. A DSA question was given via a document link. The candidate explained the logic first, then coded it. Another DSA question, "Largest Rectangle in a Histogram," was asked, and the candidate explained the logic. Basic OOPs questions (polymorphism, runtime polymorphism) and DBMS questions (self-join) were also asked. After this round, 10 out of 17 students were selected.
Technical + HR Round: This round again started with an introduction. The interviewer asked to see the candidate's competitive programming/DSA profiles (LeetCode, GeeksforGeeks), and was impressed. Basic information like relocation ability and preferred job location was discussed. Some friends of the candidate were grilled on projects and DSA during this round. Finally, 7 out of 10 students were selected, and the candidate was one of them.
