The candidate applied for a Software Engineer Trainee position at Kiwi Tech. After a few days, an email was received asking to complete a take-home assignment. The assignment included aptitude questions, CS fundamental questions, and a coding question.
The interview was conducted over Google Meet and lasted about an hour. It started with basic background questions. Following this, the interviewer asked questions on CS fundamentals, specifically OOPS and DBMS. Technical questions related to Data Structures (arrays, pattern printing) and SQL (a join query) were then asked. The candidate was able to answer these confidently. The interviewer was described as friendly and supportive. A few days later, the candidate received a job offer.
