Kickdrum visited the campus in August 2023 for a Software Developer Internship + Full-time role.

Shortlisting Process: The process began with considering about 136 students who met the eligibility criteria. Candidates had to submit a three-minute video answering three questions: what sparked interest in software development, what was learned outside college, and a significant challenge faced and overcome.

Round 1: Online Assessment: This round had 17 questions, including two medium-difficulty Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) questions that had to be solved in C++ or Java. The MCQs covered topics like Object-Oriented Programming, Database Management Systems, and various data structures, along with pure language fundamentals and output questions. 10 students were selected for the next phase.

Round 2: Technical Interview (in-person): Described as the most challenging yet rewarding round, it started with a brief introduction and general resume questions, such as the choice of programming language for DSA. Two DSA questions were asked: an advanced version of the N-Queens problem and a subarray XOR question. Finally, an open-ended system design question was posed: how to set up a pizza shop with five branches to maximize profit. The candidate's business model was well-received.

Round 3: Cultural Round: Not many details are provided, but it's a standard cultural fit round.
