This interview experience for Jubilant FoodWorks was for an on-campus opportunity and consisted of two rounds.
Round 1: Online Assessment Test
This round comprised 25 MCQs covering aptitude and CS Fundamentals. Additionally, there were 2 DSA questions: one medium level and one easy level.
Round 2: Technical Online Interview
The interview lasted approximately 50-55 minutes. The interviewer was friendly. The candidate was asked to introduce themselves and explain their projects along with the tech stack used.
Questions were posed on various CS Fundamentals including DBMS, OS, CN, Compiler Design, and Cloud Computing. Specific questions included: What is an assembler? What are the six phases of a compiler? What are the different cloud delivery models? What do you mean by Virtual Machines? What do you mean by Gateway? What are the advantages and disadvantages of serverless computing? What is the advantage of Rate Limiting in cloud computing? Explain the Third Normal Form in DBMS with an example. What are the types of process schedulers and their functions?
OOPs concepts were also tested with questions like: What do you mean by constructor overloading? Explain inheritance with real-life examples. What are access specifiers? What are the different types of Polymorphism?
The DSA question asked was: Permutations of a given string.
Final Verdict: The candidate was not selected for further rounds.
Tip: Brush up on CS Fundamentals and basic DSA questions. Be confident and honest with the interviewer.
