The selection process for the Deputy Manager - II role at ICICI consisted of three rounds.
Round 1: Resume Screening
This round was significant for filtering applicants. Since the interviews were virtual, making an immediate impact with the resume was crucial.
Round 2: Online Test
Out of 240 shortlisted students, this online test was conducted on the HackerEarth platform for 90 minutes, comprising 30 MCQs. The questions covered a broad range of computer science and engineering topics including pseudo code, cloud computing, database management systems, computer networking, operating systems, C++, JAVA, R, Python, data science, and machine learning. The candidate found some questions to be arbitrary as it's difficult for anyone to be an expert in all subjects, mentioning a "silly" question about Google cloud policies. The candidate cleared this round.
Round 3: Technical Round + HR (30 minutes)
Conducted online, this round started with a basic introduction. The interviewer then asked the candidate to write a program to find the Fibonacci series. Other technical questions included the difference between an Interpreter and a Compiler, and what OOPs are along with its pillars. The HR part involved questions like "Why ICICI?" and "What motivates you?". The overall verdict for the candidate was "Not Selected".
