This interview experience was for a Business Analyst role as part of campus placements at VIT.
Round 1: Video and Resume Shortlisting
Candidates had to fill a Google form, submit their resume, and a video resume. The video resume required an introduction, discussion of strengths and weaknesses, and explaining the motivation to apply for the role at Hyperverge.
Round 2: Group Discussion
Shortlisted candidates were divided into groups of 10. They were given a case study with a business situation and seven options, which they had to prioritize from 1 to 7 based on the situation. From each group, two people were shortlisted and one was waitlisted. This round was conducted physically.
Round 3: Puzzles and Guesstimates
This round involved two guesstimates and two puzzles. The puzzles were reportedly similar to the top 100 puzzles on GeeksforGeeks. Guesstimates were open-ended, such as "guesstimate the number of trees in Kolhapur" (tailored to the candidate's residence).
Round 4: Culture Fit (Online)
This round took place online, two days after the puzzle round. It was an intense round, lasting about 60 minutes. Questions covered personal aspects, college and school experiences, strengths and weaknesses, and "why do you want to work at Hyperverge?".
The candidate was selected and emphasized the importance of patience and knowing what to prepare for, especially for technical and non-technical aspects, and effective communication.
