This experience is from a large Infosys System Engineer pool drive, where approximately 15,000 candidates participated overall, with about 5,000 on the day of this candidate's assessment. Only about 200 out of 5,000 were shortlisted for the interview round.
The candidate expected the final round to be mostly HR-based, but it turned out to be fully technical. The interviewer did not focus on the major project or main topics highlighted in the resume. Instead, they picked up the second project and discussed its logic, implementation, and purpose in detail.
